Boudhanath stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I like the curve of those prayerflags! A really beautiful set of photos from Nepal!
There is such a feeling of 'gay abandon' here - in the proper/old fashioned sense of the word gay!
I love the way that the wind is swirling the colourful prayer flags, and those eyes on the stupa ... :)))
A wonderful feeling of freedom here Mats!
Greetings to you from Norway, Amelia
Thank you Gudrun. I was fascinated by those prayer flags above you, and luckily we had good weather that day, and not only fog, in Kathmandu. I am glad you appreciate the Nepal photos. Cheers, Mats.
Thank you Amelia for your kind words, always nice to hear from you. And then you learn something more, when you have to look up old English phrases on Google to see what they mean, but I think I got it :-). Greetings from Mats and Sweden, that finally has got ice and now a very cold week is expected, nice.
