Natchez-under-the-Hill and its trappings

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Natchez-under-the-Hill was the most notorious river landing on the entire Mississippi.

It was KNOWN for a row of saloons built on stilts over the river, called “trap-door saloons.”

Naïve travelers who wandered into one of these saloons, were often clubbed to death and robbed of their belongings; their bodies dropped into the river thru trap doors in the floor of the saloon

I have survived this year visit, and have only few scars and photos from this experience.

Isle of Capri Casino is a stationary boat Casino in Natchez, Mississippi and is open daily 24 hours. The casino's 17,364 square foot gaming space features 620 gaming machines and ten table games. So they can still rob you blind, but it is legal and voluntary!

In the background is Vidalia bridge, crossing to Louisiana.

Hallo Tomas,

Wie geht es Dir heute.

Ja, ich bin immer noch bei Pano unterwegs.

Manches könnte besser sein, jedoch ich gebe noch nicht auf.

Ich wünsche Dir alles Gute und gebe Dir noch den Stern (F)

I seldom visit. everything really functions much better at 500px. You should give it a try. Of course until you get few followers, it is slow going. I am quite active there since January 2015, so my popularity is relatively high.
