Hi Marilyn, these farms look really abandoned. I like it. They are some kind of ruins. You have chosen a very good foreground and the fence with its sizing leads the eye to the houses with the same size. The vertical lines help to concentrate on the houses. It is a very good picture.

Thanks, Bruce. I would love to live in one of the area's stone farmhouses like this! (We do live in an 1898 stone cottage in the city.) We're now back home after a wonderful Christmas in the Ottawa area. I hope you also had a fine Christmas. It looks like a good trip to Connecticut. Marilyn
