Ellington Miner surveys his bike,
wondering who nicked his tyre, like.
If that's a bike wheel it will take a bit of peddling!
Were we getting shots or only meddling?

Thanks Fai. I've passed it often on my bus and finally got the chance to get the shot on a day off.
He seems in good shape too. One envies.
Wouldn't want to pick a fight with him, whoelius!
I think buff is the word,if I've got it right.
Perhaps he is looking at what he's broken and wondering if he will loose his job for it!
Nice one Keith !
Is it spring yet? - Jethro
Aaaaaaa! PICK a fight !....... good one Keith !
I'm afraid they all lost their jobs a few years ago when "The Big E" closed down. I think it was the last deep coal mine in Northumberland. Still winter I'm afraid, Jethro. Thanks.
The axle's bent on this here pulley,
I don't think I can fix it fully.
'though I'm strong, I can't fix that,
Still, I shall wear the miner's hat.
My photographs seem to inspire poetry! Thanks Austin.
If you call that poetry, let me sell you some photos processed with Fine Art Digital Filters. ;)
So I had to find our local equivalent Keith for ya.
He's maybe not quite as buff as yours, but with a name like Camp John Rock I figure he musta hung our with Freddie Mercury at least!
Keep smilin me ol' marra - Jethro
