So you guys were pioneers! Eagles Nest has become somewhat famous in the cave diving community recently. It's now owned by the state and is open for certified cave diving only. It's one of the deepest sinks in the area with a 125' vertical depth and so far over 1,200' of penetration. nearby is Weeki Wachee springs, it has recently been crowned the deepest spring in the US and has one of the largest underwater caverns as well.
