It took a while there Kenny to work out what I was looking at but it is 20 minutes before daft o'clock.

Its a wall of machinery - some sort of track mending machine. Was it just laying there?

Very interesting - Jethro

Laying there love it Jethro

I am presuming it has something to do with the nearby steelworks. Left centre of the shot looks like a cauldron. It was just tucked out of sight but begged to be photographed.

Best regards

Ah, that's what that sprawling mass is to the west!

Grand as owt!

Kenny Wharton on February 5, 2012

NO, the sprawling mass is a petrochemical plant. It was ICI in the 60s but has been sold off years ago.

The steel works is due North to Warrenby then North West. It was closed down but there are plans to re-open it.

Love the old machinery, reminds me when we came across this on a remote footpath

No one seems to have given an explanation of the use!

Like your new picture Kenny, is it the Good, Bad or the Ugly!

All the best Peter
