Mountains offer great layering opportunities, with foothills, mountains, and sky, but I like how you've added a strong foreground dimension without obscuring the mountains and without the "postcard framing" cliche. It is hard to know if the subject is the trees with the mountains as a backdrop, or the mountains with the trees as a foreground.
