Wish you all the best for 2008 Rich
Greetings from Bonn, Germany
Just one question: is Leyden a City founded by Dutch People, because it sounds very Dutch?
I wish you all the best for the new year and a merry Christmas.
A wonderful portrait Richard, all the best for a happy and lucky 2008! :-)
Greetings Wim, Nurettin and Alan, Thanks for visiting and you wonderful comments and well wishes.
Wim - I did a little research and the town was named for three brothers who operated a coal mine there for 60 some odd years. No mention of a Dutch heritage, but that would make a better story for the town name.
Nurettin - thanks so much for the visit and best wishes.
Alan - thanks for the observation on the outfit and the best wishes.
Happy New Years to everyone and their friends and loved ones.
Thank you Richard!
No problem Wim, Happy New Year.

A wonderful portrait, Rich. Everything a scottish gentleman.
Your wonderfull on this shot, splendid costume which suits you to charm. Of which clan you form part? But you forgot the bagpipe :D)
Greetings Pepe and Jean and Co., Thanks for visiting my portrait and your wonderful comments.
Pepe - We enjoy going to Scottish festivals and it is fun dressing up for the event.
Jean & Co. - Wow, how cool to be considered charming, thank you!! :-0) The Clan is MacLeod. I almost got bagpipes once, but that has been pushed off into the future (Retirement?).
Thanks again for visiting.
You've got some neat stuff an quite a few more than I've got, though I've just gone to a digita SLR over the last year so I might catch up. Your Mountains are pretty cool. One thing that I've noticed about the Rocky Mountains is that there tends to be a little more Rock and fewer Lakes. Feel free to check out what I've explored over the last 9 years, http://www.panoramio.com/user/814238&comments_page=1&photos_page=6
I've only got a fraction of what you've got. What's your profession? Where you ever a photographer?
Greetings David, Thanks for visiting my collection and your wonderful and insightful comments. My profession is as a quality manager in an aerospace machine shop, but I have been taking pictures since 1965. I don't know if we are short on lakes here or not. Never really thought about it. Have a great weekend.
Thought of you reading a NY Times article on Fuhyo or Snow Monster's in Japan. Online I found a website place up by [Phil Lutzak](Hi Rich!
Thought of you reading a NY Times article on JUHYO or Snow Monsters in Japan. Online I found a website place up by Philnyc, meteorologist with the same photo. I think you'll like the snow monsters.
