Greg, I couldn't help myself. I grew up with that view from my childhood home in Masterton. You weren't far from there when you took the photo. (It looks different from Matarawa). Holdsworth is known as Taratahi (Lone Peak) by the Maori. I have been to the top a number of times, a few times in deep snow in winter. It is the most accessible peak from Masterton. It is 4,835 feet (1474 m) high. Relatively easy day trip to the top.
