Port Bolivar Lighthouse 1872 (faux HDR)

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Port Bolivar is a community at the western tip of Bolivar Peninsula, a short free ferry ride across the city of Galveston.

It is a home to the historic Bolivar Lighthouse, which once guided ships entering Galveston Bay. The lighthouse was built in 1872. It served for 61 years, before being retired in 1933.

I arrived there in pouring rain... My photo is an attempt for HDR effect!

TomRos. That is a great photo of the Boliver lighthouse. I grew up in Lake Charles La, and went to Galveston often. I would love to have a hi res photo to frame with permission. Would you allow or sell the photo at a reasonable price? pilotron172@yahoo.com
