You don't have to stay at the resort to use this beach, but everyone thinks so. The resort charges $70 per day for a day pass, but the right taxi drivers will show you the path to the beach.

I'm pretty sure beach access is free everywhere on Antigua and throughout the West Indies. There are few places left in the world where beaches are owned. Turkey, on the Bosphorus is a well known spot. I'm sure there are many more...
