Thanks May for your kind comments. I do hope to visit El Hierro at some time. When my son was over there I pointed out to him in a telephone conversation that in Columbus' time the island was regarded as the end of the world: he responded by saying "take it from me Dad it still is!!". I think that was more a statement about missing his girl rather than disliking the island and your beautiful shots convince me of the latter.
