Hi Füsun & Steve,

Again, thank you both for your wonderful comments and praise. This was taken under the road bridge, and to be honest I wouldn't have thought of it, but one of the resident drivers pointed out the exact spot where you have to be to get it all in. Then add the snow.... I am really happy that you both appreciate it.

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Alan, Thank you again for all the praise and awards. This was a surprise for me, not expecting it to turn out so well. I reckon that if this was tried again, it would never look the same, all the ingredients fell into place, seven engines in steam, cold clear night with no one around, snow on the ground. In fact this was Friday night, not Saturday. I decided to stay overnight so that I'd get a suitable start the next morning, without having to worry about snow or icy roads.

Best Wishes Peter

Thank you again Stacy for such wonderful comments. Kind of strange how the last shot of the day gives unexpected results, maybe there is some feeling that everything being photographed at least once, then creativity can be let loose to give the unexpected.

Best wishes Pete

Hi Rosa,

Thank you for digging into my gallery, and for the awards. I really appreciate when people take the trouble to look beyond the first page. The picture was taken on a very cold Friday night, with a very intensive service the next day, so your interest makes it worthwhile. I noticed you have a fascinating gallery, and are extremely well travelled, so I will have to visit properly soon!

Best Wishes Peter
