This is one part of Winter's in England I don't miss! Boiling kettle of water to open the car door!
But on the other hand........lot's and lot's of fun building the snowmen!

p.s. thank you for the comments you left for the photo's of the dogs with a cake for May's birthday celebrations, it was just a bit of a laugh. I've deleted them now.

Cool! Interestingly ... and the owner of this car was going to drive somewhere? And he had a shovel to dig out his car? :))

Greetings Palmina and Тилигузов, Thanks for visiting the Christmas Snow and commenting. This photo was taken at 8 in the morning. We started to shovel snow at 3 in the afternoon and the total on the ground was 10 inches.
Palmina - I remember days of using warm water and matches on keys to get doors and locks open. I think snowmen will be a better way to look at this snowfall.
Тилигузов - This is my son's new car and it has very little snow on it now. When the snow did end there was at least 10 inches on and around the car. He was lucky they did not plow our street and bury his car. Then he would have really been digging his car out.
Cheers,
Rich

Greetings Billy, It will be a great new year, especially when we get the cars dug out and the sidewalks cleared. Just a bit of snow from the last two storms this week. Sunshine today should do the trick. Thanks for the best wishes. Happy New years to you and yours.
Cheers,
Rich

Thanks for your nice comment Rich. You were one of the first people I met on Panoramio & were very friendly. You were also both informative & funny so your shots were an obvious choice to be included in my New Year greeting. I’m just waiting for someone to sue me for copyright violation! ;)

Greetings Billy, Now I'm really flattered! :-)) I'm going to have to call my lawyer back and stop the filing for copyright infringement.... (;-))
This past year has been wonderful and I am looking forward to 2008!
Happy New Years to you. "Lang may yer lum reek".

Greetings Hamzars, Thanks for visiting the start of the Christmas snow storm. When it was done we had 10 inches of new snow on the ground. They didn't plow our street so the boy did not get to dig his car out from a snow pile. Maybe next big storm.
Cheers,
Rich
