Hi Anne,

This mountain area often is bathed in fog, and I guess that is one of the main reasons this lichen grows so well here. I guess it must be a different species, but I have seen images of similar lichens in the Everglades of Florida and in the Louisiana wetlands.

O yes they are, Füsun. There are many different lichens, ferns and mosses in this special forest. I know you would love it.
