The Macedonia Triumphal Arch, which is part of the Skopje 2014 Project, is located on Pella Square in Skopje, Macedonia. The arch was officially opened on 8 September 2011 on the 20th anniversary of Macedonia’s independence. Twenty one meters high, the arch is covered in reliefs describing Macedonian history and culture on a surface of 193 square meters. The interior houses a multi-level gallery suitable for exhibitions and other cultural events. On top is an observation platform overlooking Macedonia Square.
