Schwetzingen, Schlossgarten - Rote Moschee

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Schwetzingen Castle was the summer residence of the Electors Palatine Karl III Philip and Charles Theodore and is most notable for its spacious and ornate gardens. The "Red Mosque", built in 1778-1785 by the French architect Nicolas de Pigage and situated within the gardens, was never intended for prayer.
