Hihi - super Titel!!!!

stacy metcalf on February 21, 2012

Good day, Auggie. An interesting collection of varying tastes in cars. Is a Taurus a dinasaur already? Being a Mopar guy, one might think i would pick the New Yorker, but no - it would have to be the Impala i'd take home. Though,.. Jaguar did make the sexiest 4 door ever...

regards & L from KelownaB.C.

Dida(Views?No, thanx… on February 21, 2012

Thank you very much, Stacy, for helping me identify these giants. Quite different from the present day Impalas I have occasionally driven as rentals. But even then, they were apparently built in Oshawa, a few Kilometers from where I took the picture. Excuse my ignorance, but are you saying that the Impala was sportsier than the New Yorker? As for the Taurus station wagon, perhaps just a lizard next to the Saurus, but hey, it rhymes! Cheers! A

Yes, Auggie. The Impalas today are a far cry from the behemoths of yesteryear (this one being a '69). i would prefer if the manufacturers would lay a model name to rest when they stray too far from original. :)

Sportsier, yes. ;)

My parents had a white Saurus wagon. Maybe a relation :?

Gut gesehen ,und Abgelichtet die Benzin Fresser./lach Gruss Hansruedi

Auggie on March 6, 2012

Cheers! Auggie

Auggie:

I do not know if I like more the photo or the title.

I always loved the big American cars.
