Too much history to title

Great shot from the top of the hill. Good title - too much to take in in one visit. Regards Derek

Thanks Derek, as you say, far too much to see in one shot.

On mine the title is usually Canary Wharf from Greenwich, but I don't usually chop the top of the buildings! :))

I was more focused in centraling the Queens house without a tripod or a monopole with the wrong lens. There is another one in the series with the Wharf topped out properly.

If the purpose was to minimise the impact of the Wharf buildings then you have succeeded admirably! But I don't think it matters as it's a great shot regardless. ysl

Title? Er........ Howabout 'London 2012' ??

Best wishes, Andy

Thanks Andy. I was going for the main theme being the reverent past with the secondary being a nod to now in the background.

This is an excellent photograph, well positioned to show so much of our history, went into Greenwich, when my son was awarded his chief Scout from the Duke of Edinburgh, what a day that was! and this depicts it all with the ever changing background.........I like it very much

Best wishes............Gordon
