Lots of depth of feelings in this one Steve. I like it.
Hi there Herb... I do like your choice of words.... When I looked at this spot, the view across the fields, the clouds in the sky and that lovely old gate... It all just worked.... "Feelings" is so right... Looking at this now, it is like those at rest here are the ones that use the gate... Fanciful stuff I know but some say my head is full of weird ideas :-)
Thanks for the like
A street where we all. Hallo from francesco
Hi Steve, You do such good monochrome pictures. I like this very much. I am experimenting at the moment with some. When I get it as good as this I might upload one :~D
Best wishes, Rosa.
Hello Francesco - Welcome back :-) I agree! I hope my resting place has a view like this :-)
Hello Rosa - What a kind thing to say :-) Thank you! I am glad you are going to have a go... We humans see more in the B&W so maybe that is why we like some photographs to be 'sans' colour...
If you want any tips, by all means drop me a line :-) In the mean time, I will look forward to seeing the results!
It's the gate that waits for all of us. A very powerful image in monochrome. L & YS
Wonderful black and white with a fine mood , the light is just great, like and YS , best wishes Karin
Hi there Mark - An interesting and all too poignant observation! It was not the reason why I took the photo - or if it was, it was at a subconscious level... Regardless, thanks for the YSL...
Hi there Karin :-) Thanks for the YSL :-) As graveyards go, this has to be in one of the most picturesque locations...
