Thanks Axl★Bach. These geological formations (due to rain erosion during eons) are quite famous in the area. They are dubbed either "fairy chimneys" or "hatted ladies". A local legend tells that when crossing the area Hannibal's soldiers feared them as evil ghosts who would take them in hell during their sleep... So they passed away quickly! Believe that or not :)))!

Hi again Vladan. You are right! These formations are created by erosion, but mainly by rain in this country (we may have severe thunderstorms in summer). I lke your name for them! Quite evocative and with a flavour of surnatural influence ;)!. Greetings, Cottius

Hi Maciej dear friend. Welcome in my village! We call these formations "cheminées de fées" (fairy chimneys) or "demoiselles coiffées" (hatted demoiselles"...It is a popular attraction for tourists in the area! Best wishes, Cottius

Hi again Maciej dear friend. You are welcome! The show was terrific : parents playing theater and imitating well-known show stars during 3 hours. A lot of fun :)). The show was for supporting the school's side activities (ski, trips etc.). Best wishes, Cottius
