Thanks very much, J.c! Greetings from Germany
Again enjoying the full moon reflection... and Raftsundet!
Glad to contribute to your enjoyment, Tom:-) Afternoon blue hour is quite different from the midnight sun. I hope to enjoy sights like this again in February and keep my fingers crossed for clear skies...
BTW, I had a look at your latest photos and will hopefully get around to commenting before I go up north. I hope I'll manage a trip in summer one of these years, it looks so inviting!
You are going with Hurtigrute again this winter? You are like good pigeon - keep on returning back. But Norway and New Zealand is worth of it. ;-)
I don't know if it was only good luck, but we had amazingly stable good weather - more than 3/4 without rain and only few clouds. In 2004 it was about 1:1 approximately at the same season. But still good for Norway. ;-)
Actually, I'm going to Tromsö for a week trying to photograph northern lights:-)Three other Panoramigos are also going, it's an organized photo tour (fotoreisen.ch).
I didn't like to just fly there, so I organized my journey to and from Tromsö individually, going with Hurtigrute Bergen-Tromsö and Tromsö- Trondheim. The rest is by train/ plane.
I have to confess, I have another round tour planned for end of March/ beginning of April- that one is a special offer with flights included.
Gudrun, this can be interesting for your and for planning your trip to Norway (it's all about Lofoten and Vesteralen):
Check other info about hiking and tips for making photos too.
Thanks, I've marked the page as a favourite and will have a good look later:-)
