Built in 1926 by Greek immigrant Christos Balas and operated in partnership with his two brothers. It has not been a true hotel for many decades, instead rents rooms by the month.
Looks comfortable ;-)
Well, I imagine it's better than being out in the snow... :o Thanks for the comment, motor!
Great photo, I feel the mood and would like to go inside. This one might be around for awhile unlike the wood ones that seem to burn down. Interesting gallery, cheers
This is still in operation and renowned for its scuttering critters, if you know what I mean. :< So, best to stay on the outside! But, it does make me think about all of the bachelor loggers and mill workers who passed through town in the 1940s & 50s.
Nice shot in b&w
Merci, vinc107! Thank you for your visit. :D
It's very nice picture, i like it . LIKE Thanasis
Many thanks to you, Thanasis, and hello from Oregon. :D
Good old building of industrial era and good old USA.
Hello, Yurax - this building is still occupied, although many of the occupants are creepy-crawly things, not only people! :0
How did I miss this before? This is a great shot.
There's another one of those funny signs: All Rooms With Bath. Thanks, Chet, and I see something new every time I look in your gallery, too.
Good shot, it looks abandonded now or at least looking the worse for wear. LIKE, Alexander
It is still occupied, but probably shouldn't be. Thank you again, Alexander. :D
it looks more like a factory of the sixties here in the netherlands......:) gr. roeli
