Good job on these photos. Too many people miss out on Medicine Rocks.
Thanks Alan! I'm glad someone appreciates these. Medicine Rocks is a quiet place of reflection and peace. It's a trek to get there but the rocks are worth it. It's a fascinating place. We approached from the south, coming up from Devil's Tower, so the MT 277 road across SE Montana to get into Ekalaka is not paved all the way and can be very slick and slow going when wet (clay)and makes it harder to get up to Medicine Rocks. Once you reach Ekalaka, it's an easy drive up Hwy 7. We were on our way to the Badlands in North Dakota, so I decided this was probably the only scenic thing to see along the way. Again, thanks bud. You ave some neat pics too. Love seeing those pics along US 14. I've always wanted to go up that way and the log structures are cool too. I wish I could afford to build one on my empty ten acres! :)
