Window with a View - From the House of the Rising Sun - Photo Classes in Winter from here!

I finally arrived at my winter domicile, the House of the Rising Sun, on the cliff in El Juncalito, in Baja California Sur, Mar de Cortez. Immediately I started the renovation, I had the huge cast iron doors covering the big windows redesigned, and yesterday the work was accomplished, just in time to enjoy the March Full Moon and the stunning Sun Rises. It was also time, to give my new equipment a thorough test. I replaced my NIKON D700 gear according to the extensive test last year with SONY DSLE A65 and NEX 7 and shoot identical lenses on the NEX 7 as on the A65, a good basis for comparisons. Additionally, on the NEX 7 I shoot the Carl Zeiss 28 -> 42mm f/2.8 Contax G lens, the Leica M mount Voigtlaender Nokton 40 ->60mm f/1.4 and the SONY 16 -> 24mm 2.8. Using the SONY adapter, I can shoot all Minolta Lenses I use on the A65 on the NEX 7, interesting for real comparison.
