Eel Crag is just visible to the left behind Catbells with Grisedale Pike more prominent to the right. There are some ice sheets visible on Derwent Water on a crisp December morning.

I must say, I believe you chose the best time of year to snap these pictures, taking into account the colours of the sky and the mountains. The water reflections suggest this was during Winter? I hope so! Nice work.

Thanks Dave and Simon, this was taken just before Christmas in 2007 on the way up to Watendlath for a walk. Surprise View is just up the Watendlath road from the incredibly popular Ashness Bridge.
