Yes! It is a rarity for the river to be this calm. I took this photo back in Feb 06' and I have made a dozen trips past here over the year and have yet been able to duplicate this image. Maybe I should sell the photo to Roadway transport because of the triple trailer nicely placed in the middle. Thanks for the comment Michael...

Tell me about it! I was very fortunate to find the Columbia Soo calm. It was calm all the way up past The Dalles. Check out HORSE THIEF LAKE OVERLOOK PANO and THIS TUG AT THE DISCOVERY CENTER OFF I84 and lastly MY SUPER PANO OF THE ABOVE SHOT
These were taken Last Feburary 07 there was no wind and Very little boat trafic.
I was lucky :)
