Fallen Star

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The majestic old Benedictine Abbey continues to attract my attention so I could not resist taking another shot..A full moon, partially hidden behind some clouds, gave some extra light. A long exposure and manual focus helped to deliver a pleasing result..Despite all the criticism regarding the Pentax K7's low light level performance, I am reasonably happy with the result..Please feel free to add your own opinions! I thank my friend nanoinca for the idea of the title :)

Samantha Lacy ღ~~~~Almost didn't bother to post it Sam..To be honest, the old Abbey is "done to death" but this shot has a certain appeal and I have been pleasantly surprised at its reception..

Ghiocela~~~~Hi! Simona :)~~~Not a soul stirred this night and not a sound was to be heard..Alone, I walked by the old stone walls surrounding the Abbey until this view came into my focus...There is a sense of enchantment, a sense of the past here, caught in the magic of the moment through the lens of my camera!

To you both, I send my profound thanks for your precious comments and kind appraisals..The Y* mean a great deal to me
