I think I got this Kingfisher thing sorted out now.
Here's two of them looking each other over!
Very nice recording!
I like it.
Congratulations, Jethro! Perfect balance and great light of spring. No doubt about it which one has had better luck in fishing :)
Thank you both Gyöngyi and Sixten.
I am pleased that I caught the red flashes under their wings which probably suggests they are both females.
Best wishes from hot and steamy North Carolina - Jethro
Ooo my!!! what is that?!?!?!
what a show off! :)))
they are big! you got them! congrats! ;)
Hahahaha.... thanks Ian it was in the very upper 20s (C) again today which must be close to record temperatures for mid-March. We often have snow this time of year, so this is a great boon to us. And sitting in the sun shooting birds (so to speak) is GREAT!
Well, they ain't up to the high quality standard like what you manage to do Unda, but its a start! Its only coz they have love in their eyes, that they ignored me.
In smugness to you both - Jethro
Gosh, Jethro. You are way up on me now! Way to go! like Cheers - Patty
About time (I hear you say)!
I am so glad YOU found this picture Patty I was afraid you were going to miss it after all the fun we have had on the subject!
Many thanks and best wishes from North Carolina and - Jethro
