MaryAlice, among all ice cream and other delicacies, there are so many gems in your gallery, I,m still crwaling thru all this intresting stuff you dispaly here. The amazing this is that even tho I have been here so many times, I still find somthing new and intresting. But now some ice cream, if you allow me. Hope your Wednesday evening is as pleasant as mine, cheers/Harri

MaryAlice on June 3, 2010

What a pleasant surprise to find you here, dearest Harri! I haven't been able to catch up with all of my comments yet, and I've seen that you've been by earlier too. This one just came over, so I thought, why not jump right on it right now while I'm reading it! Yeah! How are you? Oh, I thought of you just the other night when I had a brand new Ice Cream flavor. It was one of the speciality kinds that only came in the serving size for four. Oh my word.... SO powerful! It had a little bit of everything in it. Now I can't remember the name of it, but it was pure heaven! No doubt, I WILL be getting it again. Needless to say, it only served me twice, not four times! So, off of ice cream and on to photographs ...... I'm so happy that you found this shot interesting, and thank you for always enjoying what my little gallery has to offer. It's such a happy surprise when you stop by! Thank you again for your exceptionally fun visit, and I hope that everything is treating you well in Florida. Until we talk again, VERY BEST WISHES, My ICM, Mary Alice

I like your tags 'abandoned'. You are preserving a memory that will soon go away. Like

MaryAlice on December 1, 2013

Thank you, Pat! I am indeed trying to do just that! Some of the places I have shots in years past are already gone. It makes one feel odd when this happens. ….. Riding by a place all too familiar, and suddenly you realize all that you remembered is suddenly gone completely. At least photos are a way to somewhat preserve the memories, as you said. Thank you for enjoying these abandoned places that I do so adore.

Very best wishes from Georgia,

Mary Alice
