Repeatedly dug out with a backhoe so that the crossing is no longer usable and folks have to pay a very high price to use the ferry downstream. This crossing was legendary among four wheel drivers, crossing the Jardine was like an initiation. Ah the good old days! Before political correctness. I was probably one of the last to drive across the Jardine here both North and South bound.
