Rae Lakes Sunrise Reflections, California Sierra

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This photo was taken during my 5-day backpacking trip in High California Sierra. My team of 8 hikers started in Onion Valley, hiked about 40 miles, and spent 4 nights at wilderness: at Matlock Lake, Lake Charlotte, Rae Lakes, and Kearsarge Lakes. We hiked through tough Glen Pass 11798 ft (3596 m) and Kearsarge Pass 11760 ft (3550 m)

I took this photo in the morning after a third night... Absolutely pristine beautiful area. I wish I could spend more time here. I took a lot of photos at daytime, with wild flowers and bright blue waters of the lake.
