Rosa, I've just seen your reply of 22/03. Sorry! Yes, I was a regular customer of the Yapp Brothers and made a habit of stopping by there and replenishing my stocks on the way down to or back from my family in Cornwall, or friends nearby, when I lived and worked in London. It was always an excuse to make a short detour to Shaftesbury and for a pleasant walk on Castle Hill (as Nick says - I had forgotten the name). I have re-visited your photo. Partly due to all the nostalgia generated but mainly because I think I was a bit mean first time round I've added a YS. Best wishes, Andy

Thanks Nick, I have changed it acordingly. I should have known really as I was born in Castle Hill House Hospital! There is a little garden next to this called The Queen Mother's Garden which looks pretty in the summer but just a bit green this time of year! Thanks for the YS and as always, happy to bring good memories ;~D

You weren't at all mean the first time round Andy! Thanks for the YS. Yapp brothers is in a lovely setting I think. I remember he was the first dentist in the area to put music head phones to the ear...it didn't help the pain though :~(

I remember Robin Yapp - my parests were in the wine trade for a dozen years (80s mainly) and he was at a tasting in Town we all went to once. Anyway thanks for the kind wishes....back to work!...
