Is 山賊 the restaurant's name? Any special meaning of 山賊 in 日本語?

Ask74 on April 20, 2012

Hi, David. Yes, 山賊 is a name of this unique restaurant chain. I guess the shop name come from the specialty food of this restaurant "山賊焼", which is big roast chicken with bone. Or building of the restaurant would be made of the image of fort of bandits.

David Yang on April 21, 2012

山賊焼, sound yummy!Kind of food originated from bandits?:)

Ask74 on April 25, 2012

A man in this photo is just cooking 山賊焼. As you can see, it's very wild-looking food. So someone named "bandits' roast chicken", I guess ( I can't explain well in English, sorry).

By the way, finally I decided to go on a travel to Taiwan in June! Currently I'm proceeding with the preparation of it ;)

David Yang on April 26, 2012

Hi Ask, welcome to my country! I wish you have good times in Taiwan. I'm working for a Germany company in Shenzhen China and supposed not to be in Taiwan in June. Nevertheless, you can contact my friends if you need help or anything else. Please feel free to let me know if necessary.

Ask74 on May 1, 2012

Thank you for your kindness, David! I'm so glad :) However, I can read and listen to English, but can't speak well. And I'm sorry to say that I can't understand Chinese too. So I would cause your friends inconvenience... Instead, I want to ask some questions about how to travel in Taiwan. May I send you a private message with panoramio?

David Yang on May 3, 2012

Hi Ask!I'm glad to share Taiwan informations with you. While I don't know how to send and receive private message with panoramio. Maybe you can give me some tips.
