Old Stone Church

I use to fish with my grandfather here some 45 years ago. beatiful spot. He would tell my brother and I about how they move the town to make way for the reservoir and were there were spots you could see old telephone poles still standing out under the water.

Still many people fish near here. Just to theleft of this photo, where the viaduct bridges the old river, the water is about 80 feet deep. No the deepest part of the river, but the drop-off is amazingly steep. Must have been a cliff before the reservoir filled in.
