Diane

Great capture. I like your style. Moreover, the many characterizations of "Not selected" is an indication of high aesthetic that distinguishes your photos.

Most of my shots are "not selected," but I don't care. I am not so interested in broad landscape shots, which is what is more accepted, but which others do much better than I do! I enjoy details and playing with editing. Thank you for your feedback, Charlie.

Hi Diane! Just stumbled across this photo of the water tank with the antennas. As luck would have it, I'm the guy from K. Falls that installed those TV antennas while building the cable TV headend......in 1982! Originally, there was also a big channel 2 antenna above the tank on a mast attached to the ladder. The catwalk is at 130' above the ground. A similar setup was on the tank in Merrill,OR, about 20 miles away, which was taken down several years ago. I wonder if these are still useable, but don't think I'll climb up there to find out! Thanks for visiting our area, and best of luck!

Hello, Fret! Thanks for the great "inside info!" I have a photo of the Merrill tank somewhere around here...ah, here it is. I wasn't visiting the area, I live here - in KF. ;D Sometimes I get out of town and wander the outback. Old, falling-down ruins and rusty stuff are my favorite subjects. (Not that there isn't plenty of that in KF!) Thanks for the visit.
