Great photo, Matthew. It looks like it was moving or is it something wrong with my eyes? :) What a difference between those shades of green, nice composition. Greetings

Thanks Karolina. You are right, the eye doesn't settle easily here, because of the blur around the edges.

Hey Matthew nice capture. Love this selective focus effect. Did you use a "Lensbaby" to achieve this? Really nice composition and color.

Are those letters in the moss? Sure looks like it. Regards, Tom

Thanks La Mugna and Tom.

@ Tom - You're right on both counts. I bought myself a lensbaby for Christmas; because the pillar is sandstone, people have found it easy to carve their names and the rougher stone then makes it easier for the moss to take hold.

The contrast between the green and the ivy first caught my eye here.

I think that ivy is one of the most beautiful plants you may find in nature. This pic is beautiful...but I miss something here or someone...maybe an elf or a fairy?? ;)

Thanks Hessam and Crystal. I love the way the ivy is reclaiming the stone capping back to nature.
