Thanks...I labeled the photo file correctly but mispelled the Panoramio label. Still remember that wave (even after all these years)! When did the break get crowded? In 1972, there were no local surfers there...just travelers from OZ, US, etc.

That was the trip I was on too. Didn't score in Morocco...early June by then so no N. Atlantic swells. You're correct on the wave set-up...a very "pushed" wave as it reflects off the jetty...very similar to Sebastian Inlet in Florida. Glad you found your way there...and got your first tube also...Aloha!
