Birds is the connexion I presume, nice picture! greets Jos
Like the tree in the chiminee
and lookout crow on roof
one o' them storks would mek a grand meal
for a large group of film buffs!
It may not be the prettiest of wall decorations, but it is well done. And the wall maybe look more interesting than without the drawing.
Your presumption is correct Jos, although I haven't a clue as to the variety. I suppose it's called artistic licence! Each year Stavanger has a street art week, and various graffiti artists 'improve' dilapidated areas of the city.
Are you thinking of preparing the bacon rolls, bread sauce, sprouts, roast potatoes and cranberry sauce Bonnie Lad? We could all have a grand dinner, and the wee bird on the roof could have the left overs! ;-)
Good morning ♥Fairy♥, you're right - this wall would look really awful without this graffiti. These birds are newly hatched by the looks of them. Maybe when I get back to Norway they will have become fully fledged, and who knows, there could be a colony flying overhead in Stavanger! ;-)
Mmmm, not sure about accompanying roast stork with yuletide nibbles, cannot find the accepted bits n bobs on GOOGLE, but will continue searching.....suggest a stuffing of wholemeal bread and mushrooms, butter beans as a side, but have no idea what to do for a sauce or gravy!
Aaaaaahhhh ~~~! Here come Katy with the Bisto! :))
!!!!! but oxo is beef gravy innit?
aam shoor a stork is a boid, so the gravy should be more bird-like
they like bread, so I'd plump for bread sauce, with onions. Accompanied by asparagus, diced swede and of course brussell sprouts!
Now what about desert?
If you are having bacon rolls, Amelia, I hope you will be spreading Stork Margarine on them! LOL... LIKE 1. Cheers, Joe
Presumably the storks are of egg laying age now - what about a nice egg custard tart? A nice oatmeal and onion stuffing would go down a treat, and I love butter beans.
You sound as if you love cooking Mike!
yeah Mam showed me, I love it!
can't do much now as I can't stand for long, but it remains a pleasure to cook and eat!
There is a bush in the chimney... I have looked a long time to the painting it is done very well. Like it, but the building is very bad...
How is your garden?
Warm wishes from Greetje
Thank you dear Greetje, the artist will be pleased to read your comment if s/he ever sees it! This building is definitely abandoned, but at least the graffiti makes it look a bit better.
As far as the gardening goes - snow stopped all activities today! ;))
Here in Holland it is gray and dry....and the cold is coming in the weekend...
Hugs for you to, Greetje
