Detail shot of a rapid in the shenandoah

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

On Saturday March 17, 2012 I volunteered for the Adrelanine Rush adventure race. I took these pictures of the Shennandoah on what ended up being a beautiful spring like day, warm enough to bring forth the buds of spring.

As i flowed down the shenandoah i was treated to an endless sequence of beautiful shots of the river. Despite my best efforts with the camera, i can only offer a paltry echo of the magnificence that nature displayed in this day going down the river. Go and paddle, explore, enjoy, absorv, leave behind the artificial trappings of electronic gadgetry, and come commune with nature.
