Thank you for the notice, Marilyn!

I am on my way over right now! =)

Thanks for checking, Mary Alice. I hoped you'd like it. Yes, he does look like a china doll! He's good-natured and very alert, too, and we are very grateful! I'm writing here because I'm not planning to reply to these last comments since I'll delete the photo before I go to bed. Feel free to delete these comments which have nothing to do with your fine picture. Marilyn

Marilyn,

Absolutely not! I would never delete anything that you said. Your comments won't hurt a thing being here, and you're certainly welcome for the visit to that beautiful boy.

I know you must be so proud.

Congratulations, and thank you again for sharing such a wonderful photograph with me.

Warmest regards,

Mary Alice

Still, it's so much clearer. I forgot my shirt at the water's edge. The moon is low tonight.

Nightswimming deserves a quiet night. I'm not sure all these people understand!

I just love that song as I do with most REM songs. The song suits this picture well.

Have a wonderful trip in dreamland, Erik

MaryAlice on September 22, 2010

Erik, I was actually just shutting the computer down, when your comment arrived. How amusing that you would immediately recognize these lyrics, though I should have expected such, as you are a musical genius! I LOVE that about you! :)

Did you know that REM lives right here in Georgia, and not too far away from me either! One of my very good friends actually does their taxes! :) It's a very small world, isn't it?

I love the song too, and I'm so happy that you found it fitting for the image.

As always, it's wonderful to hear from you, and this is getting to be an expected meeting time with you .... just before I go to bed. It's no wonder my dreams are always so filled with music and foreign beaches with horses and a crazy fellow doing a balancing act on a narrow pole! ;)

Wishing you a delightful day, my far away friend ........

And I'm off to dreamland now,

Mary Alice

Erik van den Ham on September 22, 2010

It sure is a small world. I love Michael Stipe his voice can't describe it though but there is so much emotion in it. I think I heard something about that of them living in Georgia. How wonderful I fill up your dreams with all that! And about that narrow pole.... I think somewhere deep inside we are all a little crazy or at least we should be. There are too much 'normal' people already.

Have a pleasent stay at dreamland Mary Alice in Wonderland! Erik

MaryAlice on September 24, 2010

Mary Alice in Wonderland! :) Yes, Yes! You always amuse me, Erik!

I agree with you ..... Michael has quite an emotional voice, and his lyrics always speak volumes!

I will take crazy over ordinary any day! Normal is so very boring ... so predictable!

Dreamland is calling me again ..... Can you hear it? :)

Erik van den Ham on September 24, 2010

Yeah I can even hear the wind whisper Mary

After all the jacks are in their boxes

And the clowns have all gone to bed

You can hear happiness staggering on down the street

Footprints dressed in red

And the wind whispers Mary

MaryAlice on September 24, 2010

...singing along with you now ~

A broom is drearily sweeping Up the broken pieces of yesterday’s life Somewhere a queen is weeping Somewhere a king has no wife And the wind, it cries Mary . . .

Many, many times this has been sung to me and by me! :)

.......and tonight it will sing me to sleep. Goodnight, Erik! I hope your day is wonderful, and thank you again for the song tonight.

:)

Erik van den Ham on September 24, 2010

Some how your comment reminded me instantaneously at the song. Perhaps Jimi will provide you with some lucid dreams. Always loved that song and the guitar play in it.

Dream about the sweet love between the moon and the deep blue sea ......

MaryAlice on September 28, 2010

Erik, well, I didn't dream about the moon or the deep blue sea, but the dreams were fun all the same!

Very best wishes to you always,

Mary Alice, writing in the middle of the DAY for a change! :)
