Apologies for my late response guys!

mmircea~~~~Thankfully, many of our railway viaducts are remaining..Many of them have been incorporated into cycle ways and public footpaths..It would be too costly to pull them down.

-ila-~~~I'm delighted for your generous appraisal Ila, especially for the YSL..The HDR treatment enriches the red bricks and blue tones!

>| Micha |<~~~Greetings Micha..I was hoping for a mirror image here but there is always the breeze!

© Alan L~~~~I also feel in awe of the great British engineers who pioneered the building of these marvellous structures..Credit must also go to the dozens of brick-layers and stone-masons whose great skills were paramount in the construction of these land-mark edifices!

乾龍~~~I greet you warmly Qianlong and thank you for your appreciation :)

ChiefTech~~~Welcome Ivan :) Thanks for the kind evaluation!

Bánfalvi Suzi Natusk…~~~Hello Natuska :))~~The bridge domineers the river valley yet it cannot be seen from many quarters since it spans the river on a loop!

cindy555~~~Hi Marion :) it's good to see you here, always a pleasure to receive your critique on my shots!

s Theodorou~~~~~I'm grateful for your nice comment and kind appraisal, thanks!

Luggi, Niedernkirche…~~~Hi Luggi, thanks for stopping by..:)

digitaaal~~~Thanks for the huge compliment Pista, the YSL means a lot!

bakyy~~~~~I'm glad you liked the photo, thanks for the kind evaluation!

Steve Drury~~~Hello Steve :) The old bridge has stood the test of time but I worry about the lack of regular maintenance..The brickwork is showing signs of deterioration but where is the money coming from to repair it!

NIKOS1954~~~Always a pleasure to receive a visit from you Nikos and, as always, I am grateful for your kind appraisal :)

I'm thankful for all your amazing comments guys, it is a pleasure to receive so much positive feedback and especially the YSL's ..

Kind regards!

Jim
