Many parts of Wisconsin have beautiful rolling landscapes and the hills and valleys are fun to drive through. I respect the sight of a well kept farms and villages.
It's called the Driftless Area it's primarily in southwestern Wisconsin it is also in northeastern Iowa, southeastern Minnesota and extreme northwestern Illinois My hometown of Cross Plains WI is on the edge of the Driftless Area however Madison is not in the Driftless area. There are some Grand Views from most of the hilltops in the Driftless area. My best part of driftless is Devils Lake State Park and the Baraboo Range near Baraboo WI. If you have a big fear of snakes this might not the best for you.
Waiting for more tree leaf foliage to grow. I will eventually drive through those areas, but most likely will stay in the car. I don't know much about snakes, so there is some fear involved.
Thanks for the info.
