Incredible framing! Did you spend hours to get this? --- And what a dangerous place to have a nest! LIKE and F
Good morning Eva,
I spotted this nest on an electric pole last weekend when it was raining so I went back yesterday on Saturday. The pole is along a narrow road , so I parked and had the top down on the Cabrio and I sat patiently with my camera for about an hour as the two Ospreys left and returned to their nest, They have no young yet. We were treated to watch them drive an eagle away from the nest but that happened quickly and I manage to get only one photo of the eagle. I shall return ,again and I hope to watch their family grow.
Good morning Eva, the electric wires are fairly wide apart and they can not touch both, so they are relatively safe. The pole has fields on both sides so they can see the nest from far away. We also heard them "talking" to each other. I really enjoyed watching and photographing these beautiful birds.
Great pictures of these birds, congratulation !
Good morning motorhand,
the sun just came up and I am drinking coffee and thinking of what I can do with my camera today. Thank-you for your comment, I had fun yesterday watching the beautiful the beautiful Ospreys.
Thank-you for for your kind comments.
We went by the nest again today to see if everything is OK.
They are so beautiful to watch in flight.
It is a challenge to follow them with the camera and to stay in focus. Only one photo tuned out today.
I hope to watch them raise their young. So far we have located 4 separate nests. I love using my new camera to capture their beauty.
I am looking forward to the result of your treasure hunt!
The osprey is my favorite bird and you have captured it very skillfully! L+F! I have only a couple of pictures of these birds that I am proud of so far...I will keep trying! Best wishes from Idaho, Don.
