La Cabrera - snow melt

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

There is always water flowing here but with zero rainfall for the best part of a year this had died to a barely visible trickle just when it should have been a raging torrent in winter and spring. There was a little rain and snow a few days before this photo was taken and this is the result. But the stream was as full as this in June and July last year! So unless there is substantially more rain soon, serious problems lie in store. The blue-flowered bushes are rosemary.

Beautiful composition, even though the circumstances (too little water) are not so nice.
L1 Would like to smell the rosemary.
Best wishes, ANtje

Many thanks Antje.

Lovely comment re the rosemary!

It is competing with the smell from the fresh growth of thyme and lavender before the sickly smell of the jara/cistus takes over next month!

Best wishes, Andy
