This is the derelict coal-fired power station at South Fremantle. The image was take from the beach to the west. The facility operated from 1951 to 1985. The bases of four tall chimneys can still be seen on the roof. The building is heritage listed, but successive state governments have failed to find a new use for it. This image was taken in September 2007.
