The orange against the blue, a striking and very attractive contrast. Y*. If this were England there would be excited ornitholgists converging, just like this, from all corners, to view the rare pelican - and not one of them thinks to look up! Amusing, and also the way the pelican perches there, aloof from it all! I think there's another bird perched on the other lamp, but it's much smaller and I haven't a clue what it is; might be a rare vagrant blue-throated warbler all the way from England!

Sorry not to see your comment earlier I think the other bird is a sea gull but mostly we have a bout four pelicans at this beach i have on on each post in another photo.
