I couldn't identify this bust; couldn't find any information written there too! Does anyone know who's this?

Ganesh Dhamodkar, looks nie. Like+. May be it's a statue of Bal Gangadhar Tilak

Umapathy: It's not Tilak. Tilak is easily distinguished figure. We have at least 2 statues of him here in the city; one is already in my photostream. Also, Tilak used to wear round head pagdi (turban), this person is wearing a Gandhi cap.

Thanks for your comment though!

The statue is of Shri Ravishankar Shukla, he was intrumental in formation of Madhya pradesh. he was also the first chief minister of Madhya pradesh and a very powerful figure in the regional politics

Thanks a lot lot sir! I really had no clue about who this was. Your comment has really been of great help and I would change the photo title accordingly. It is only because you identified him, I have uploaded this photo on Wikipedia and you can see it now in the article about Mr. Ravishankar Shukla here.

Again, thanks a lot!
