Greetings Marilyn, You just don't see many old water towers like that anymore. It's nice they made this part of the new business park. Framed a little higher you would never know save the cell phone system. Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Rich. I got an excellent, very dramatic shot with no parts of the building in sight, but decided to post one instead that related it to the rehabilitated old industrial buildings that surround it. We were shown around by a friend who is a historian with particular expertise in the history of technology and industry, and he certainly knew exactly where to take us on this mini photo safari! It's outside my usual photographic comfort zone--you must know how I love landscape and nature--but it's good to be stretched.

Cheers, Marilyn

Hey, cool water tower - and nice picture. You know, it sort of reminds me of the world's first satellite, Sputnik - a ball with four antennas. (Here's the aerospace guy speaking ;))

Ciao, Justin

ahh, that's the future. Why not. Wonderful found, Marilyn. It remembers me an old railway control center including a financial adviser

Cheers, Roland

I see the resemblance, Justin. And Roland, I enjoy seeing things updated to new uses, as in your photo.

When I first saw this from the other side, I didn't notice how it had been put to new use.

Greetings, Marilyn
