Mount Rose Highway, NV431

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Results of a late season storm over Mount Rose Summit. The Pass connects the north-east shore of Lake Tahoe to the Reno, Nevada area. It is the highest year-round (not closed in winter) Sierra pass. But at almost 9,000 ft. elevation, it can see some snow in any month.
